Presentation Techniques

Whilst researching other projects that Durbach Block Architects have completed I became very inspired by there regular use of axonometric drawings as a representational tool in presenting there work. I find it interesting how they remove the main structure from the landscape to reveal its surface. Although this technique seems rather simple, I believe it is one of their most effective presentations as it links to their beliefs of creating a building that coexists with the landscape. This has lead me to want to use this technique when it comes time to present my re-interpretation of "The Holman House"

Here are a few examples of some of the projects they have completed using this representational tool.
